"25th of Spooktober - Killer Chiller
Pretty good for a slasher flick. Well the acting was good, the story was a little weak and there were too many moments where you just want to say, "Oh, come on!" and "Don't just stand there, keep moving!" (as seems to be the case for every slasher film🙄)."
"Excellent premise in that a masked serial killer stalks and hunts his victims by initiating an “accidental” fender bender and getting their personal information while exchanging information. In reality this is a two star movie but while its premise is sound its execution is just so bad it’s good. The acting is just way over the top and generally unbelievable, the character development is non-existent and the main heroine has an instantaneous change in personality two thirds of the way through from meek and afraid to aggressive and dominate. It needed a rewrite for sure and I think most importantly it needed a better director as there are some aspects here that if remade could make this into a pretty cool film. Besides the interesting premise the other good aspect here is the MO and look of “the driver.” When masked this guy is just scary and iconic looking in the right light and the characters total nihilism is fitting with his MO. There’s one scene with a victim who gets in his car and sees all the licenses he’s accrued in his hobby that is a truly excellent scene that belongs in a better movie. Give this thing a good writer and director and remake this thing. I think we’d have a franchise going if they did. "
"Thanks to whoever suggested this movie! I don’t know how I’ve never heard of it before. Makes you think twice about exchanging info after a crash! "
