"A hidden gem on Netflix with a simple, but entertaining and riveting plot. This movie feels high quality, and the plot does a great job of keeping you watching. My only real complaint is that I didn't get enough time or connection with the main antagonist (the rich kidnapper) to understand his motive or care about his storyline. I think there was a lot left unsaid- some sexual tension or romantic interest in the main character, narcissism, insecurity... I think the movie would have only been added to if I'd gotten to know more about his characters motives or the main character's past trauma (besides being poor and having a hard childhood)."
