"It’s a quick watch and a perfectly decent movie. They really stick by the book which is par for the course in the 1930s. The did get pretty creative with the ghosts portrayal though. I’ve never seen A Christmas Carol adaptation where Marley is invisible and truly only Scrooge can see him, not even the audience. "
