Street Level

"On paper, this movie looked intriguing. Basically a mini reunion for Sons of Anarchy alumni. Written, directed and starring David Labrava who played Happy on SOA. Labrava also enlisted the talents of Mark Boone Junior, Drea de Matteo, Emilio Rivera, Danny Trejo, Marilyn Manson, and Kristen Renton, all from Sons fame. But it didn't really do him any good. To put it bluntly... It sucks. I get that he was trying to show the life of junkies on the streets of L.A. but the execution was all wrong. The story was weak, so much bad dialogue, and the lack of a soundtrack makes it obvious that this was made on a shoestring budget. But the thing that bugged me the most were the scenes with the two boring men in the apartment (that turned out to be serial killers) but served no purpose whatsoever and dragged the movie down. Such a shame. 4/10"
