The Snowy Day

"This book was a favorite of mine in childhood & a favorite of my daughter’s too. A simple story of a boy named Peter going outside to play in the snow, playing with neighborhood kids and then trying to capture a memory of the day by saving a snow ball in his pocket. He sadly learns that snow melts when brought inside when all that’s left in his pocket the next day is a wet spot where the snowball had been. Gorgeous illustrations. Other books featuring Peter- Peter’s Chair & Whistle for Willie. I love these books so much that I’m buying myself the plush Peter in his red snowsuit for a Christmas present/decoration this year 📚"
