"I was disappointed, it wasn't enough in any direction. It was creepy but bordered on boring in the first half. Then when it tried to show little bits of gore, it was lacking in that department as well. Then the mystical hallucinations or dream sequences just made things more confusing. Finally, the creature itself was underwhelming, teetering on stupid looking. 4/10"

"I love that this movie created such an isolating feeling. The scenery of the forest truly made my skin crawl and the sound effects were chilling. However, I expected a lot more from this movie on my scare scale. I wanted to be thinking about this movie for weeks, as promised by other reviews, but I don’t believe I will. The next horror I dive into has to do with something other than grief. Seems to be a recurring theme, which is fine, just wanting something fresh and really out there. I’d give this a try for a lazy afternoon though. Don’t completely write it off your list! "

"Ok so this movie has a lot to unpack, but overall I would say it’s a pretty good movie. It’s a mix between The Blair Witch Project and Wrong Turn. I’m not a huge fan of cultish movies but this one was actually good. I definitely recommend giving it a watch. "
