"I'm giving this movie a thumbs up merely because the production quality is good. This film looks like there is a battle raging. Other than that, as strange as it might sound, there really isn't much of a plot. In the last 30 minutes of the movie, there are a few satisfying scenes of the forces being fought. I have seen Aaron Eckhart in much better roles than this one, and Michael Peña is wasted as an actor in this film. "

"One of my favorite movies! Completely underrated and it ****** me off what critics said about it. Which is why I don't pay attention to critics because they're stupid. The crap they say is good and should get Academy awards is pathetic. I'm not saying this is worthy of an Oscar but it's amazingly better than Ebert and his cronies have to say about it. I have watched it several times!"
"An awesome oorah devil dog movie for people who love a good, outrageous battle scene and Marines. I originally watched this with my Dad and it still makes me feel motivated and ready to go kill some bad guys. Although the uniforms in this movie look good, hand signals were right, and there are a few cool details, anyone with experience around Marines would not consider this extremely realistic. However, I love a good war cry and recruiting video (which is exactly what this is). "
"Nothing unique about the story. However, it was action packed and thought it was an overall good movie!"
