"Less is more, except for when it's less. I have to assume that 45 min to an hour of needed material got dropped on the cutting room floor. I want to like this film because it's a really great concept and the acting is decent. The trouble is, we spend more time with secondary characters and scenes that only make the story and it's flow marginally more logical or better while spending almost none on things that could have answered some hows and whys. If it wasn't items cut post production than it's just bad writing - about 4th or 5th grade level. Yet in some ways it's worth watching. It would be worth re-making (correctly making) with same cast and most of the same crew but maybe another director and/ or a second screen writer. "
"This started out with an interesting look at a post apocalyptic version of the future. Those who aren't carrying their weight in society are sent to New Eden.
What started off interesting quickly becomes anticlimactic, especially the ending.
All in all it's a good movie to scroll your phone with."
