City Hunter

"People dog this movie but it’s literally so perfect. I’ve never seen such a perfect live action adaption. “Laura” or Kaori is played so perfectly and feels nearly the same as the actual anime version of her and so does “Nicky” or Ryo. The costumes feel a little too costume-y (idk how to explain it any better) but there’s nothing you can really do about that since their outfits are literally identical to the real outfits in the manga/anime. I love this so much, but I’m probably biased since I’m in love with City Hunter."

"I absolutely love this movie, for an adaptation I'd say they did an amazing job. The characters feel true to the manga & anime. I've rewatched it a few times and I plan to keep rewatching it in the future."
