The Time Travelers

"No pun intended, but this movie is shockingly ahead of its time. The ending feels almost modern. The effects are very good for the era, to the point where it feels like the SFX department is just showing off. Really good film comping, much better than the rear projection a lot of other movies of the time would have tried to use for certain scenes. There are a couple practical effects that I'm actually not 100% certain how they accomplished too! I actually would not be surprised if a stage magician was consulted for some of the effects."
