The Swordsman

"For every one of these international action movies I review, there’s three or four I DNF’d. It’s because I know I’ll come across a really good one eventually. It’s just proven out that way. This is a really good one. All star cast, volcano hot director, very well written and acted. But a lot, for me at least, comes down to the hero. How cool are they and how much am I rooting for them? This one has an A+ there. "

"Meh, it was alright. The movie kept jumping around which was confusing, music was boring. Villian was super annoying. The actual swordsman and his fight scenes were pretty dope."

"This movie feels like some one smashed the plot of a Zatoichi film and the the sword fights from the live action Rurouni Kenshin films all in to one and that combo would normally work for me but in this case I felt like the film was just missing some aspects of what makes those films great so if you are hear for the action it's top notch but the story hear on display is decently lacking in a whole 7/10"
