"I went into this movie somewhat blind, not knowing much about it, besides it being a dark comedy. It starts pretty slowly, showing the rich and privileged, vapid lives of some characters. By the end of the second act, things start to get interesting. No spoilers but pretty visually disturbing. The third act is where all the meat of this movie is. The twist at the end is great, but the very ending turned me off. Left too many questions and left open to too many interpretations. I give it 7/10."
"I absolutely hated this idiotic weird movie.. left it on as background but would never suggest this to anyone ever. "

"Some of the hardest laughs I’ve had in a theater this year. An absurd satire on class and social roles. Certainly a bit long, but that’s due to the wild direction this film takes the third act. Right when I thought it might be coming to a close, it took the story one step farther, leading to a fascinating conclusion that I didn’t expect. It’s like watching a train wreck in slow motion. I highly recommend supporting this in theaters if you can find it playing somewhere near you!"
"'Never argue with an idiot, they'll only bring you down to their level and beat you with experience.
Talk about a quote you can apply to your everyday life. “Triangle of Sadness” won Östlund his second Palme d’Or at the Cannes Film Festival last spring a very rare honor for such a wild, raucous comedy. I don’t think I was prepared for this going in completely blind. This is another one of those films watching the rich get wrecked in other words “Eat the Rich)A glossy satire on the ultra wealthy. It’s broken up into 3 separate acts all showing a different side to human nature , gender roles , class and social issues. By the third act the hierarchy is turned on it’s head. With a ambiguous ending that I wish would have actually played out. In concluding the film the last shot creates so many alternative theories to what could have possibly happened on that beach. R.I.P to Charlbi Dean who played Yaya. She had a great performance and it’s very sad she died of a sudden illness at the young age of 32. This really would have been a breakout role for her."

"Uh what? Half way through and I still had no idea why everything was happening. It had a few funny moments but I think people only like this because it's unexpected and probably has some kind of message behind it. Of course "critics" will rate it highly for that reason alone. And unfortunately adding a drunk Woody Harrelson didn't feel like it enhanced the story at all. Whole thing felt completely pointless and random. The final act had some opportunity to save it but of course ended on a cliffhanger to make you guess what the conclusion would be (which I'm not usually a fan of); right as things finally got more interesting.
Tldr I don't see how this is a "stick it to the rich" satirical movie worthy of much praise."
