Earth is peaceful following the Tournament of Power. Realizing that the universes still hold many more strong people yet to see, Goku spends all his days training to reach even greater heights. Then one day, Goku and Vegeta are faced by a Saiyan called 'Broly' who they've never seen before. The Saiyans were supposed to have been almost completely wiped out in the destruction of Planet Vegeta, so what's this one doing on Earth? This encounter between the three Saiyans who have followed completely different destinies turns into a stupendous battle, with even Frieza (back from Hell) getting caught up in the mix.

"The added layer of CGI and improved animation makes Dragon Ball three times as awesome. I wish the tournament of power could have received the same treatment but obviously there's budget and time restrictions. Nonetheless this was a blast and I appreciate that they kept the art style consistent."
"After Sparking Zero it has brought Dragon Ball back to me in such a high degree.
This has always been an anime on my radar.
I mean it is insanely popular. I feel even if you have never watched or heard of anime. You have been somewhat referenced to Goku.
All I got to say before the review is. Dragon Ball just seems for me. The constant screaming. The super fast paced action. The characters. I will definitely watch this whole series eventually probably not for a long while but who knows might not be true
This was insanely good. It introduces a lot of things someone new to dragon ball will appreciate. Like me which I did. It did take a while for the action but well worth it.
I loved how much they developed Broly. I really found his character and his screen time before the action sweet.
The action is phenomenal and probably the most I have ever really been hooked on action really in while. I’ve seen good anime fight scenes. Demon slayer has beautiful fight scenes.(even if I have a lot of issues with that show). JJK especially season 2 has stepped up the game on its action and really loving it. I don’t know though something about this action hits different though.
Loved it can’t wait for more down the road."
