""We generationally are choosing what icons to perpetuate to future generations. Pennywise, as an ultimate horror icon, a demonic infinite that has access to your deepest fears, I don't think that's gonna dull anytime soon."
An overflowing treasure chest of entertaining anecdotes, fun facts, familiar faces, deconstruction, goodwill, and enthusiasm for a movie/miniseries that's been integral to the DNA helix of my horror tastes."
"I am literally about to cry. This was everything I hoped for and everything I wanted it to be. I am old af so this made-for-tv movie was one of my very first horror experiences, and legit solidified my undying love for the genre. I was 7. And man I was *hooked.* This was truly a lighting in a bottle situation.. Perfectly cast, and my first intro to Tim Curry. What a seriously brilliant actor. He scared the daylights outta me as Pennywise, but also made me laugh my ass off. That's not an easy character to pull off. He absolutely nailed it. There is a scene at the very beginning where the sheets blow in the wind and you first his sinister side...haunts me to this very day. I know yall young ones will like the new ones better, but I will forever disagree. I do like the new ones don't get it twisted, but it will never outshine the original for me."
"I'm not sure why this says it was released in 2018, as I just read that it's in post production now. Bart Mixon (make-up artist) shared the update on Instagram yesterday. I'm so excited to see this! After watching the new IT movies, I found a renewed interest in Tim Curry's version of Pennywise. I find that I have a very special place in my heart for the original, even though the new IT was amazingly terrifying, too.🖤"
