"This was a cutesy, empower women to embrace their natural sense of self/beauty and not care what others (especially her mother) think of her type of movie.
I appreciated the 90s vibe it gave me and also the ending where it didn’t really show her if she did continue seeing Will but her being at peace with her life and being single.
I liked the scene where she danced like no one was watching yet screamed when she saw someone was (her ex).
But the most powerful moment was when, in a drunken state, she shaved her hair off because it was one of the things that she felt defined her beauty and she didn’t want that responsibility anymore of looking ‘perfect’ all the time. I also liked her realizing and knowing what she wanted out of her life."
"I love this movie so much. It shows the effect that people’s opinion have on other people. It also shows the struggle of having natural hair and overcoming it."
