"This was an excellent, engaging, and informative documentary. There were numerous clips of Douglas Fairbanks and his productions as well as press videos of he and Mary Pickford, "America's Sweetheart." I learned just how much he contributed to the film making process, 📽️ and to artistic freedom. I enjoyed watching this film, which is narrated in a fun style."
"While this documentary has tons of old footage from the early years of Hollywood and details about the founding of the Hollywood machine, this feels more like an attempt to deify Douglas Fairbanks rather than provide any balanced look at his life, role in early Hollywood. I’m sure that this film will be enjoyed by fans of Fairbanks, but for anyone who loves documentaries this film is a failure. 👎👎👎"
