Andy has taught Charlie how to defuse her power, which is triggered by anger or pain. But as Charlie turns 11, the fire becomes harder and harder to control. "I really wanted to like this but it turned out to be very underwhelming, disappointing and kinda boring. I will give props where pros are due which is the Carpenter score which was insanely good. Ryan Kiera Armstrong is going places that little lady is in everything. The film picked up in the 3rd act which is the best part of the entire film. Everything else in here is lukewarm. That might explain why I never heard of the original but from what I heard they didn’t change anything sadly."

"It was missing something a connection. The parents made things complicated and because of that more complications happened. It just didn’t connect with me. Memorable movies you can connect and enjoy. This is one that eventually I will forgot. Nothing memorable. The Shining, The Shawshank Redemption, The Green Mile and It were more memorable. This is my honest opinion."
