"How have I not seen this before now? It's Wes Anderson, whom I adore. With a splendid cast and a seemingly omniscient narrator,(a method I usually enjoy in film), it intrigued me in its quirky, off kilter way as most Wes Anderson films do. I even like the art in movie. While not my favorite work of his, I did enjoy this look into journalism, politics and the arts with all its ridiculous pretention and self aware bizarre take on things. I may have to watch it again with the hubs since he too enjoys Wes Anderson. If you are a fan of Good Omens, as I am, Frances McDormand will be a welcome familiar voice as the aforementioned narrator. Recommended. "
"If you love the stylized movies of Wes Anderson, you will love this beauty of a movie. One that pays tribute to journalism by presenting human interest stories highlighted in a fictionalized Newspaper in France. Each story is brilliantly casted and presented with the signature nuance of Mr. Anderson. Highly aesthetic and one of his best. #wesanderson #drama #comedy #style "
