"If you love mid-60's rock, you'll have a real way into this, as a nostalgia ride. The down side is it's less about the period and more about Jakob Dylan doing covers of songs you may love. Sure, there's some hreat history here, told by folks who lived it; but, they aren't paying for the rights to the original tunes in most cases. It fills your time decently. If you must have the music, roll out a playlist on your favorite music device. If you're in for the stories, you could do worse."
"Fascinating look at LA music scene during mid-60s. Musicians living as neighbors in Laurel Canyon created a music scene that impacted generations. Mamas and the Pappas, The Byrd’s, Beach Boys... great music and personal stories. "
