"I’m not a big fan of action movies. But this movie is one of the exceptions. This is a very good movie, one that I watched twice. The negative; Mike Colter, a good actor, plays the stereotype black male drug dealer. (Hollywood stop with generic writing. Do better.) But the rest of the movie is done so well. The characters have depth. The action and suspense are tense. Think “The Fugitive” condensed to one day. And the lead is a black female, bad ass cop. (Getting better Hollywood. There are plenty of Latina and black female officers in the real world and plenty of talented actresses that can play this role. Blue eyes, man bits and a square jaw are not requirements). In addition the shots are beautiful and it’s a beautiful movie. This one is worth the watch"
