"If you are expecting this to be a continuation of Train to Busan, you will be disappointed. Although it is set in the same fictional universe, it is a stand alone story with totally different characters. Not as good as the original, they tried to ramp up the action with a bunch of car chases and stunts which takes away from the dread of the zombie threat. It's still a good movie with decent character development and a good amount of zombies and action, just a completely different vibe from its predecessor. 7.5/10"
"About 50% as good as the original Train to Busan"

"This is part 2 to the film Train to Busan. Besides the storyline picking up 5yrs later & there being zombies that is was the similarities end. This film was more of a Fast & the Furious Zombie edition & I hated it. Would’ve loved a true part 2 that kept up w/ the style of the 1st film. I think though if you watch this film & keep it completely separate from Train to Busan you may like this film. "
"I really liked this movie. It was dark and very suspenseful. It had similar plots to other apocalyptic movies, like Sweet Home, The Walking Dead and Train to Busan. It turned out Peninsula is the sequel of Train to Busan. This movie stands out against similar apocalyptic movies because of the much better character development on each member, while keeping them just the right amount mysterious and ambiguous. The same goes for the plot. One thing I wish there were more zombie scenes. "
