"wwooogh. a rough watch if you have homophobic family trauma. the documentarian is really attached to his family and refuses to let them go, despite their repeated emotionally abusive comments to his face (his mother), and microaggressions from his less aggressive siblings. i don't think i could have continued to tolerate that kind of treatment. his husband is so sweet."
