"Well deserved Oscars, especially for makeup. Great performances by both Andrew Garfield and Jessica Chastain (not surprised she won). My favorite 2021 Andrew Garfield performance."

"Hard to say that I exactly “liked “ this movie. I went down a Jessica Chastain rabbit hole binge. She was well cast in this. She had compared both Tammy Baker and Tammy Wynette characters and I wanted to see for myself. I also lived in Charlotte for a long time so I was well aware of the scandal. Both female characters were so strong but also so used by their respective husbands. I prefer the Tammy Wynette character personally because at least George Jones was honest about who he was as a man and a person. I don’t/didn’t feel the same way about Jim Baker. "
