"For an origin story, this DC animated film has a surprisingly compelling story. Instead of meeting a mature self-assured man, we are introduced to a doubtful, in-need-of-confidence young man. Clark Kent faced a foe that seemingly has no weaknesses, and must rely on the help of an untrustworthy source. I enjoyed hearing Zachary Quinto of the new Star Trek films voice Lex Luthor. The pace of the film picks up after the first 25 minutes, and the action sequences are great."
