"I've stated before and ill do it again, im no intellect so this was a tough one for me. Started it and the first half made sense to me, I was following along well enough. Then all of a sudden the scene and plot chances almost instantly and it became a second story that I wasn't quite getting. I understand that this film is open to interpretation but if you're not intelligent you just have no idea what happened. And thats how I felt. Yes. Aubrey plaza did quite the performance but even that couldn't have this film for me, personally. It took me well over 7 days to pause and try to figure out and then pause some more from boredom. Had some cringe moments as well. It couldn't hold my attention and was a waste of my time."
"Finally watched this for the first time since itβs available on Hulu. Amazing! Thanks to everyone who recommended this one to me. This stuck with me, it was the first thing I thought about this morning, Iβm still analyzing it. I love movies that stick with you and this is absolutely one of them!"
"The script, score, performances, especially by Aubrey (definitely her best role yet) are precisely executed to create this puzzle-like movie with an uneasy tea-kettle like tension and confusion. I definitely didn't expect to think this hard about this one and I'm still uneasy to make absolute theories about some of it. If you like Persona you'll like this one for sure. Love how much there is to debate, you can talk about this for hours. "
