"Never thought I’d hate the guy who played Chidi Anagonye, but this movie got me there! His character’s a total asshole, and nothing he does makes any sense. Also, the movie tries to trick you into thinking the main character’s sister isn’t a total idiot for marrying someone after 4 weeks 😂 big yikes all around "

"Listed here as a comedy, this is firmly in the "drama with a few comedic moments" zone. If you're drawn in by actors you loved in The Good Place and You're the Worst, expecting comedy like that, you may be disappointed. There's not a lot of mirth here. There's schadenfreude, with some familial angst and a form of cautionary tale. It may all seem deep if you're under 30. Thankfully, it does skip some obvious Hollywood pitfalls for this kind of story, though it still manages plenty of cringe. YMMV"
