"Sure, it’s not very good, but it’s not falling apart at the seams or anything. Plus, I miss the look of 80s sci-fi action movies, the lighting, dirty environments, fog. Plus, the relationship between the leads is kinda cute. The main underlying problem is that the world-building is crappy and the pacing is bad.
Not bad for my first Roger Corman movie tbh. I wouldn’t object to a modern remake with a better budget, and better acting and writing."
