"SHARPER (2023) is a cleverly crafted “con” movie that’s both engaging and entertaining. While it has only a few minor flaws, the film’s intricate narrative structure, revealing pieces of the puzzle bit by bit, kept me hooked, and its twists & turns kept me guessing who was conning whom right up until the end. ▪️Strong performances from Julianne Moore, Sebastian Stan, Justice Smith, and Brianna Middleton further elevated the story, adding depth and complexity to the film's intriguing plot.

"I've come to realize that Apple+ has quality programming as opposed to quantity. They may not have an abundance of original content but what they do have is mostly well produced and top shelf stuff. That brings me to this movie, Sharper. I really enjoyed this movie that started as an apparent love story but quickly shows its true colors as a well crafted con artist movie where you're not sure who's conning who until the very end. Well acted by all involved and told from different perspectives, no matter how much you pay attention to the details, I doubt that you'll see the twists coming. Money, greed, back stabbing, love and sex... All ingredients that help make an interesting watch. 9/10"
"Tries to be clever with its con game by adding new layers, with various twists, turns, and acts of betrayal at each major plot point. While this can be exciting to watch, it’s still something you’d expect from pretty much every con. The performances were great and I liked how the story was told in different perspectives/segments; but, overall, it was trite and the characters seemed more like vehicles for the plot rather than anything real."
"Brilliant! "
