The creators of Wallace & Gromit bring you an exciting and original story about a group of chickens determined to fly the coop–even if they can’t fly! It’s hardly poultry in motion when Rocky attempts to teach Ginger and her feathered friends to fly…but, with teamwork, determination and a little bit o’ cluck, the fearless flock plots one last attempt in a spectacular bid for freedom.

"This movie made me fall in love with stop motion as a child and was one of the first movies I saw in theaters too. Just a great movie with a very digestible message about the food industry and how horrible it can be for the poor living creatures that live there and all for a profit. I also get a whiff of anti-capitalism and pro union which I always love! It makes sense from all the movies I loved as child why I turned into who I turned into, an anti-capitalist, pro union, vegan. Thank you for your service Chicken Run! "
"Didn’t care for it. It did have its moments"

"It's the great escape but with chickens, as the creators say.
But no, honestly, it's a perfect heist / escape.movie for kids. The ones who adore action but are still a tad young for normal Speilburg movies, this is for them.
There's a crud ton of meme worthy moments, a few that are memes too in the movie. Of course that means a tad bit of cringe but it is certainly an enjoyable time. Not only that but this movie is memorable. I was never a fan of the puppet like clay animation. In fact it freaked me out. Despite that, I did watch this movie and remembered it until now when my friends made me rewatch it again. It's still fun and an interesting story. I enjoyed it and even laughed a few times.
It's fun, with interesting twists and turns while still being believable as a movie about chickens escaping a farm.
To top matters off they add in a character that's a rooster who can fly. It's a nice addition that adds some extra flair to the movie while slowing down our main character.
Overall, the characters are so rather simple, but man will they make you laugh. Quite a few are kind of stupid but it's part of the charm. Plenty of l8nes are clever yet dumb, however that's whatll make you love them beyond all reason. Truly a classic for some great laughs and surprisingly fun times."
"The people who don’t care for this movie just don’t get it. It is an extremely metaphorical film about the experience of womanhood in a capitalist and exploitative society. It touches themes such as sorority, the barriers of our mind, intimate parter abuse and even the need of more feminist men in a society. Just exquisite!"
"If you and your family dont quote "I dont want to be a pie" and instinctively reply, are you even living your life? It's good fun, not as good as Wallace and gromit but much more well rounded. If you like the original peter rabbit you'll catch these vibes. Good for kids with lots going on for the adults too"
"Great kids movie"
