Ishaan Awasthi is an eight-year-old whose world is filled with wonders that no one else seems to appreciate. Colours, fish, dogs, and kites don't seem important to the adults, who are much more interested in things like homework, marks, and neatness. Ishaan cannot seem to get anything right in class; he is then sent to boarding school, where his life changes forever.

"I grew up in India but now live in Canada. This movie was extremely relatable as I struggled alot with the Indian Education System when I lived there. I believe Indian Education System is great but not balanced and does motivate students to learn. However, as I see my cousins grow up, I do see a huge difference in their schooling and can proudly say things are changing. This movie did a great job at shedding light on the struggles of a kid who us dislexic and how no one managed to understand him. One of the gems in recent years from Indian Cinema. Definately recommend this movie!"
