"When I heard the N Sync drop at the start of the film I knew I was going to like this film. Actually kind of crushing when you realize you only know one way out, one way forward, one thing to offer. mikey does everything he can to sell this one possibility he knows like it’s the best option, because he thinks it’s the only path he can pave. and even that path is mucky. but he doesn’t mind because he’s just a passenger, along for the ride. As a avid watcher of A24 films I definitely can put this up there with some of the best. Now I just need to watch The Florida Project which has been on my watchlist for years at this point. #a24"

"New(ish) Sean Baker movie dropped and it's a comedy with dark undertones. There's really not much to say about. It's about a guy who sucks getting to the lowest point in his life and learning nothing from it. All in all a pretty compelling character study that I couldn't stop watching."
"Feels like a Florida Project follow up as Sean Baker continues to deliver a fly on the wall look into white trash lifestyle. Simon Rex is angering and gross but you can't look away. It's a mess of a person, in a mess of a city, filmed beautifully. Not a recommendation for everyone, but a great movie for those unstanding what they are getting into. "
