"I appreciate the homage to Lotte Reiniger's work, but this movie is much less impressive than her stories, despite (or perhaps because of) the additional technology they were working with.
The framing device is also pretty annoying and could have been simplified a lot.
Honestly, just go watch The Adventures of Prince Achmed instead."
