When a proposed pipeline creates hostilities between residents of a small town, a newly-arrived forest ranger must keep the peace after a snowstorm confines the townspeople to an old lodge. But when a mysterious creature begins terrorizing the group, their worst tendencies and prejudices rise to the surface, and it is up to the ranger to keep the residents alive, both from each other and the monster which plagues them.

My Own Worst Enemy

"I've got a soft spot for movies that have a very specific "feel" to them. In the case of Werewolves Within, it fits nicely alongside The Hateful Eight and The Thing in a "snowed in for the winter" vibe. A supernatural mystery based on the party game of the same name, Werewolves Within will scratch the itch for a bloody horror comedy, but won't leave a very lasting impression. The cast chews their scenes and has a lot of fun with what they're given, but Werewolves Within doesn't quite stick the landing with the ultimate battle against the titular beast."
