Lily is a typical 150-year-old lovelorn vampire who's looking for the man of her nightmares -- until she lays her eyes on Herman, a 7-foot-tall green experiment with a heart of gold. It's love at first shock as these two ghouls fall fangs over feet for each other in a Transylvanian romance. Unfortunately, it's not all smooth sailing in the cemetery as Lily's father has other plans for his beloved daughter's future, and they don't involve her new bumbling beau.

"Just a fair version of the TV series. Herman, Grandpa, and the Werewolf were the best portrayed characters. It was fun seeing Easter eggs of the series during the entire movie. The bright colors used in the film gave the experience a different mood. The distribution company wouldn't let Rob Zombie use black and white for production, so he went for broke with the use of color!😂"
"I don’t understand the hatred of this movie, I thought it was goofy campy fun and I don’t think we needed anything more from it, and kids would have a good time with it.. Specially with all the colors and silly acting. The only thing I’d say is it ran a little long but I feel this could of been fixed if it was an actual show instead of a movie, it did feel like a bunch of Episodes put together."
"I LOVED IT. My mom and I always loved the original series, as did Rob Zombie, but you definitely do not need to have any experience or backstory to appreciate what he has created here. Similar in feel to the original Adams Family series, you are along for the ride as a spooky family is forced to live in a less than spooky neighborhood, not quite “fitting in.”
Definitely a passion project, he has produced a wonderfully funny and sweet installment into the franchise. This is his first family friendly film, my kids absolutely adore it. Granted I already loved Rob as a musician as he transitioned into an equally talented writer/director, but I still think this is an awesome addition to *anyone’s* Halloween. Or in my case literally any day of the year.
Love him or hate him, give this one a go, it’s just too fun to miss!"
"I watched the Munsters when I was a kid and I appreciate Rob Zombie, but this movie was absolute garbage. Even our kids told us it was terrible and asked to watch something else. Zombie Strippers (2008), with a Rotten Tomatoes score of 38% was a higher quality movie than this, and that movie was insanely bad. "
