"Based on the Grady Hendrix novel, I think it was a really good adaptation! There were things I thought were a bit slow in the book that had the right flow in the movie. Very enjoyable as a silly horror movie. I did LOL at the third act when the Lemon Brother started his bit. Very true to the character, Chris Lowell did a fantastic job. I think the whole cast did. "

"It was a cute movie for the most part. Not really as heavy on horror as I would have liked it. The acting isn't the best, but it's passable for a dumb popcorn flick. A little bit of nostalgia for me because I grew up in a Christian house with 80s movies and fear mongering about drugs and they occult. I really wish they would have pushed the horror to the extremes at the exorcism scene but it really felt like they botched the ending due to a low budget or bad writing. An accurate depiction of the demon would have helped a little bit too. Still, I don't feel like watching it was a bad experience, and I don't really disrespect anything but the stuff I absolutely hated watching. "
