"Not sure why the reviews are so low. This was great! Pulled at the heart strings alongside action?! It was the perfect combo. Gave me #homefront (Jason Statham) vibes. Very well done. Didn’t want it to end. The grandfather/granddaughter duo mingled perfectly. Nicely done. Definitely a very cute movie. 8/10 ⭐️"

"The Baker is everything that The Retirement Plan wasn’t. Ron Perlman delivers a solid performance as a bad dude who has retired and is living a quiet life but gets pulled into a terrible situation involving his estranged son and granddaughter. What’s funny is that Ron Perlman was actually in The Retirement Plan as a hit man with a bit of a good heart and was one of the few good things about the movie.
