Ganja & Hess

"Shocktober 2024: Ganja & Hess is a difficult film to watch. It's complicated and experimental, it deals with a lot of very heady themes (most notably addiction), and it's low budget made for a lot of hard to follow editing choices and inconsistent audio and video even after restoration. That being said, I was enraptured by it. The way the dialogue is written throughout this movie is absolure captivating to me and there are some hauntingly beautiful scenes throughout. This will stick with me and it's a variable pinata of themes to look into if you're as into how vampire mythos explores various themes as I am."
