"The sci-fi horror film starring Laurence Fishburne and Sam Neill is pulse- pounding. Once the action begins, it doesn't stop until the last scene. The plot surrounds the theory that the crew of the event horizon actually contacts the evil parallel universe that holds all the darker parts of their themselves. The crew is terrorized in an unbelievable way throughout the remainder of the film. "
"Gratifyingly nasty, brutish, & short. It sucks that nearly 30 mins of gore footage had gone missing and unable to be incorporated into a director’s cut. It’s probably the best lit and designed of the late-90s studio sci-fi ensembles, and easily the most aggressively freaky- all hail eyeless Sam Neill. Worth several viewings."
"This was so good I didn't k own this gem existed until friend recommended it to Mei definitely jumped at some of the scares the gore was next level it sort of gave me ghost ship vibes I know ghost ship came after 😅 Anyhow I'm not the biggest Sci fi fan but this Sci fi horror flick was a match made in heaven 🥰"
"A very terrifying Space/Horror movie, Nice setting for a horror movie. Crazy effects throughout the movie, well casted and good dialogue through the whole movie. Some scenes of explicit gore and violence, my 2nd viewing of this and as terrifying as ever. Good scares if that's what you're looking for."
"Doesn’t get enough credit for how truly terrifying it is. "
