Following the death of her estranged father, Iris learns she has inherited a run-down, centuries-old pub. She travels to Berlin to identify her father’s body and meet with The Solicitor to discuss the estate. Little does she know, when the deed is signed she will become inextricably tied to an unspeakable entity that resides in the pub’s basement – Baghead – a shape-shifting creature that can transform into the dead.

"3.5 stars. The main character didn't ask enough questions for me. If I moved into a place with that specific problem I'd move right back out as soon as I discovered the issue. Even if that meant sleeping in the street, because that was ridiculous. Good one time watch."

"While the concept of talking to the dead is not original, this set up was. An other worldly woman in the basement allows you to speak with the dead for a limited time but there is a catch. You really don't know how that is going to manifest. Things end thr way you expect but there is a couple of twists along the way one of them unexpected. The creature design was pretty good with some solid practical effects. Where this falls apart is when they over complicate things. They keep adding rules/details and it muddys the narrative in the third act. Overall this one is pretty solid with an original spin on things.
