Four girls go on a romping weekend at a lake, and have car problems on the way home. A nice local boy takes them back to his farm, where he lives with his father. Something ghastly happens, but the father helps his son as he has in the past. When the boy meets a girl and begins falling in love, the father worries about a repeat performance.

"Surprisingly boring for how transgression it is. It does some interesting things, some of the tonal choices are weird enough to give me pause, the anti-war angle that comes out of nowhere in the back half was interesting, and just being such an early American slasher is, in and of itself, kinda cool. This beat Texas Chainsaw Massacre to market, thats an accomplishment. It's just, actually watching this movie is a slog. I, at one point, called it Psycho from Wish, and that general vibe persisted throughout. It was very obvious the filmmakers had neither money nor experience. The editing is sloppy, cutting in the middle of scenes a number of times, and there are points where background noise drowns out the written dialog in a scene. It's not great, but it is interesting."
