"I got some major Speed vibes from this so if you like Speed you'll like this. Both have those two part adventures. Both have the villian with a history with the main character who screwed up their plans. Honestly, this is a knock-off Speed with more action sequences to keep your need for explosions meter full.
Just when you think the movie could be over it goes on. Only unlike Speed, it doesn't necessarily get better or fulfill that confrontation between the antagonist and protagonist.
There are a lot of moments when you just wonder why don't they do this simple thing, or at least make sure the gun they bring to the final battle is loaded. Dumb things like that occur a lot.
Also there's a lot of nonsense at the end. Random topless girl for no reason and no true ending. Like there isn't a final scene where you can clearly tell the ending was thought out. It just sort of ends. (I'm not explaining it well but you get my point). Whoever wrote this just needs to work on endings and making sure things make sense logically.
Yes it's an action movie, so we let some slide for convenience; but when every action scene is about the main character just conviently being lucky with his dumb ideas it doesn't work well.
Still, I'll probably watch it at least once more."
