"I've read more than a few reviews that complained that this movie is just a way for Christian conservatives to push their anti-abortion agenda. Honestly, I wouldn't have even noticed, and it doesn't take away from the movie for me at all.
I enjoyed this movie. I thought Sean Patrick Flannery totally killed it in his role as a demon possessed convicted serial killer. His use of a wide range of emotions and complex facial expressions really added layers to his character and I have a new found respect for him as an actor. This movie obviously was working with a limited budget but still managed to make the possession storyline work without the aid of special effects, that is commendable. 8.5/10"
"I liked the message of this film. The premise was extremely interesting. The idea of a serial killer being possessed by a demon holds promise for an intriguing story. Where the movie lost me was the script and some of the performances. It was filled with long shots of lengthy, preachy monologues which honestly bored me, which was a shame because again I was on board with the message. The acting performances were also kind of stale. The best part acting wise was definitely when Edward was panicking before his execution and crying about never being given his final meal. The movie just never hooked me and I found myself just waiting for it to be over."
"Nothing but talking in this movie. Super boring and no story to it at all. "

"The main actor that played the death row inmate did a good job. But this movie was just too slow for me and I don't mind a slow burn that leads to something. This didn't do that for me. Also, if most of a movie takes place in one room then it should have an extra interest plot. If you don't mind a very slow burn then it had a concept that could have been interesting. I have to give this 2 stars."
"The Dr. visits the prison to see a death row inmate ti decide if he is sane enough for execution. I enjoyed the initial mystery of not knowing if this guy is crazy or possessed by a demon like he says. There is an interesting theological discussion being had. However they are very heavy handed with the message. It's very predictable as you will know exactly how it ends right down to the last scene. I also didn't feel like this was a horror movie. Just because it involved a possible possession doesn't make it scary. Thirller/mystery yes but it didn't have any real horror elements to it. Nice set up but too flawed for me to score this highly. It was just OK. Please check out my podcast Mostly Low Budget Reviews with Clarence for a full break down. On all streaming platforms. Link is in the bio. Thank you!"
