"I mean, it's technically accurate if this was a documentary from that time period. Extremely bleak, boring, and depressing. It does get the dynamic of the characters correct, but it only covers half of the book, when arguably a lot of important things happen after Cathy's death. Also, it was a big deal that they acknowledged that Heathcliff was a person of color because that is more in line with the book description of his character, and other movies just portray him as white. "
