"This movie was a really interesting find. Two sisters invent a machine, in the 1930s, that can receive radio and TV broadcasts from the future. They eventually use their machine to try and help Britain in WW2. However, as always, when you screw with the future, it inevitably screws you back. This was shot as a found footage film and also made ample use of archival footage (often repurposed). The sisters are more interesting characters than you would generally get in this type of film and it has several clever ideas and twists to keep you engaged. It’s a quick 80 minutes and is available for free on Tubi. I’d recommend it to anyone who likes high concept sci-fi or alternate histories. 4 out of 5 stars."
