"If you're a fan of Bill Burr, this will be a great watch for you.
Bill Burr wrote and directed this movie under the Happy Madison banner so it's all his style of comedy. He takes a look at and pokes fun at the generation gap between today's young parents and being a dad in his early 50's.
He points a finger at the easily offended, triggered, millennial types in all their ridiculous Karen-esque glory. There are more than a few hysterical scenes that made me laugh out loud. And it was well acted by a great supporting cast. 8.5/10"
"It was ok. But I’ll admit, I’ve never been a big Burr fan. Even though I often agreed with a lot he said in his stand up, I never thought it was real fun to listen to. To me, it just comes across as bitching justification. At least in this he tries to flip it, and I know a few ppl who could benefit from the moral of the story. There were some really funny bits here and there but it felt more like a message movie than than what I was expecting. "
"I had pretty low expectations, so I was pleasantly surprised at how funny this was. I half-expected for all the funny moments to have been revealed in the trailer but there were still a few others in the movie. It was definitely entertaining, relatable in some moments (which also very much surprised me) and had loads of wacky characters. There is some nudity (it's not just a flash) as well as stronger curse words (not just your typical sh** and f*** words) so choose carefully who to watch with :) "
"If you like Bill Burr, you’ll find a good time in here. I enjoyed it. It’s cute, crass, and feels a bit like an embodiment/mishmash of his standups. Since I do like him, I’m fine with it lol. It’s well done, don’t get me wrong, the cast is great and the storyline is there. I just can’t help but wonder how it would be received by someone who isn’t familiar with his work, or straight up doesn’t like him lol. "
"It shows you what’s wrong with our society these days and yet he’s forced to apologise for speaking his mind. I didn’t find him angry at all - quite direct which I appreciate ;)"

"Bill Burr has writing and directing duties on this one and it shows in positive and negative. If you enjoy his brand of comedy...and I do...you will recognize and relate to the material and find this very funny. He is basically playing a version of his real life self. On the negative side the story and other characters are pretty simplistic. It felt more like an outline and just scenes pieced together to get to the next joke instead of advancing the story. Not a great movie but it is funny. For a more detailed review please check out the podcast Mostly Low Budget Movie Reviews with Clarence. Link is in the bio. Thank you!"
"As an old dad myself, I found this movie humorous and enjoyable, but I doubt younger generations will."
