"3.5/5*s Much to say about this Japenese movie. What a strange mish-mash of genres all rolled up into one movie. It's definitely horror. Lots of blood. It's kind of a Breakfast Club scenario with six high schoolers who don't run in the same crowds, all of a sudden putting them in a situation where friendships are founded. During the day, they laugh and goof off together. At night they all...well, I can't say. You'll just have to watch it. There's so much K-drama (J-drama, in this case) with a small love story and lots of death. I guess what I'm trying to say is, at any given time you might feel like you're watching a high school drama, only to be switched moments later to be watching pure horror. It's very campy. The monster is both scary and stupid looking. I can't decide. It's such an odd movie, in my opinion. It's also a lot of fun to watch. Lead guy is gorgeous! And how about the title of the movie? It's a Japanese movie but it's title only seems to work if read in English. I don't think it even works in Japanese. It's a double entendre. I find that very interesting and I'd love someone else's take on it. I quite enjoyed it and I highly recommend, if you like a kinda cheesy...but not(?), fairly gory, and strangely oddly curiously weird movie. It hit all the right buttons for me. Let me know if you liked it, too! There are definitely a lot of unanswered questions as to why certain things happen. Watch through the end credits. Might there be a sequel?!?! It would be good to learn more about the lore behind everything. Like I said, a lot of questions left unanswered. "
