Bio
A lover of LGBTQ+ books, banned books, and horror movies! I do very brief reviews of books I read and they mainly consist of all potential triggers for the reader and the genres of the book. Some of my lists are WIP!

WoomoThis book is an oddball for sure. The first 1/2 of the book is a little bit on the slow side, It's still fairly interesting to read, but it doesn't really make you think it will be a unique read. Then suddenly, the author throws twist after twist at you. I genuinely liked this book, is it my favorite thriller ever? No. But it's a good read and keeps you satisfied. I do thoroughly enjoy the characters and feel that the author did a good job developing them as characters you're supposed to love or hate. The one negative of the book is that the romance aspect was very rushed. It was one of those things where instantly you knew they were going to get together, even though they had just met. And despite not seeing each other much throughout the book, they get together at the end anyways. Potential Triggers: Murder (mostly just mentioned), Gore (but VERY little of it, it's not something I would even consider gore), Mention of s*x (very little). Overall this is a great thriller book, especially for anyone who's particularly sensitive to certain triggers. Overall a 7/10 book. Mainly knocked down for it's romantic aspect. #thrillers

WoomoI genuinely loved this book. To me it was the perfect mix of body horror and an actual story that had it's fair share of happy and sad moments. It technically has LGBTQ romance, but there is very very little of it and the only thing that's sensual or sexual in the book is a single kiss. The romance is admittedly very clumsily done and is VERY sudden. It's the only part of this book that I felt was done poorly. There are no triggers in this book besides body horror and gore, both of which are on the light side compared to many body horror novels. #young_adult_fiction Overall, a 8.5/10 for me.
