"9 to 5 is a fantastic movie. It deals with 3 archetypes women were forced into as they joined the workforce. Lily Tomlin in the hyper-competent, under-appreciated workhorse single mom of 3 boys who runs the department. Jane Fonda is the divorcee struggling to return to the workforce. And Dolly Parton is the attractive and well-endowed secretary who gets sexually assaulted by her boss (and then she threatens to shoot his dick off) who gets treated like **** because all the other women think she's (I guess willingly?) sleeping with the boss. They all meet up and have an old-fashioned ladies pot party, have some fire hallucinations about murdering their boss, and then kidnap him and hold him hostage. It's really entertaining, and I must feel nice for the writers to see how all the things they implemented in the workplace have been adopted (flexible working arrangements, personalizing your workspace, equal pay (in progress)). It's a really good movie, you should watch it."
