"Finished it yesterday. It was enjoyable. There’re themes of how to learn and be an authentic artist, how opening up and being honest with others can affect the art you make and it also sheds light on mental health of an artist and really anyone who works towards something of value. Was it fun? Kind of. Would I rewatch? Probably not. "

"this was so touching and wholesome and deep and adorable i loved it, it took a bit to get into but it’s well worth a watch. *SPOILERS* i loved the main character because he really changed over the show from a punk with good grades to a great artist who cares deeply about people. the story with his mother, and his school friends versus his art friends, and especially Ryuji was really special to watch as he grew and gained empathy and understanding of art. overall, very good 👍 "
