In his past life, he was known as Demon Lord Varvatos, an all-powerful magic user and ruler. But he was lonely after the loss of his friends and loved ones during his rise to power, so in his dying moments, Varvatos cast a reincarnation spell so that he'd get a second chance at just being a normal guy. At first it looks like that's going to work – he's reborn thousands of years later as villager Ard. Unfortunately for him, his memories are still intact and he's not aware just how much has been lost over the time he spent not existing, and it looks like that's going to cost him his normal life.

"Its just a harem 😕 I thought it would be something interesting and even wholesome but he's just overpowered, oblivious and all the girls are so obsessed with him they want to form a harem willingly. And whats with the female school uniform, its really skimpy. Idk maybe ill give it another shot at a later date but it just doesn't have much charm. "

"It started out strong in my opinion but as the episodes went on it didn't sit right with me! Most of the time I finish an anime even if I don't like it to see if it gets better but I didn't do that with this one! I saw potential and it disappointed me. Not much or good personalities with the characters either, they were almost to much. "

"Despite the descriptive title, and my general love of reincarnation anime, especially with a high fantasy setting, my main issue with this series is that the protagonist may be a different person, but he retained his memories as well as his powers, so he isn't really living a low key life, or at least isn't trying hard. Where it does gain some points for me is character development that makes the other characters less one-dimensional."
